On Thursday, August 23rd, I was driving through the park after picking up my kids from daycare and saw Action 3 News and police in the park. I called my mom and she switched to the news in time to hear that the bomb squad was called to Fairmount Park. Until this morning, I finally found out they were called after workers found a substance in a trash can and experienced watery, itchy eyes.
