BAY RIDGE — One mayoral candidate spent their Wednesday night hurling shots at Staten Island’s congressional representative over a recent vote that he claims will harm thousands of her most vulnerable constituents.
City Comptroller Brad Lander, one of nearly a dozen candidates set to appear on the Democratic primary ballot for mayor in June, held the town hall event at Brooklyn’s Good Shepherd Lutheran Church to rail against Washington Republicans’ tax bill and Rep. Nicole Malliotakis’ vote in favor of it.
