STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Chipotle Mexican Grill will open this week in the former home of DaddyO’s BBQ. The 185 Bricktown Way restaurant will make a total of three Chipotle outlets on Staten Island.
Chipotle Mexican Grill in Charleston will open its doors on Thursday, June 5. It will operate daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Customers visiting the new location will have the opportunity to try the brand’s newest protein offering, Chipotle Honey Chicken, which will be available for a limited time. Chipotle describes the taste experience as “tender, juicy, and grilled to perfection” courtesy of smoky chipotle peppers and a hint of honey sweetness.

Also in local discussions, Chipotle had abandoned plans for a new drive-thru location on Staten Island’s North Shore.
Last May, Chipotle representatives confirmed plans to open a new drive-thru concept at 1630 Forest Ave. in Port Richmond, at the former site of a Santander bank. However, by July 2024, the deal had fallen through, leaving the North Shore location vacant but suitable for a drive-thru restaurant.
