Costco has announced a recall of a popular mineral water brand that may be contaminated.
Costco was informed that its supplier Coca-Cola is recalling a limited quantity of Topo Chico Mineral Water, in the 18 pack of 16.9 oz. glass bottles, due to a possible contamination with pseudomonas.
Pseudomonas is a bacteria that can be found naturally in water sources, including mineral water. The health consequences of consuming mineral water with the presence of pseudomonas aeruginosa is considered to be very low in healthy individuals, with potential minor health consequences if consumed by individuals with weakened immune systems.
The recalled items were sold at select Texas and Louisiana warehouses from May 20-29, 2025.
If you purchased Topo Chico Mineral Water with the lot code 13A2541, it should be returned to your local Costco for a full refund.
Lot codes can be found on the case and on the neck of the bottle.
