STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A crash has been reported on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge early on Tuesday afternoon.
The two-vehicle collision is on the lower level Brooklyn bound, according to an alert from the MTA.
A left lane has been closed since about 12:15 p.m. during the emergency response, according to 511 NY.
Traffic is backed up on the Staten Island Expressway to at least Hylan Boulevard, according to 511 NY.
