STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The daughter of a prominent caterer accused of running a crime operation has pleaded guilty to resolve her own case, after prosecutors alleged she helped her father move dangerous narcotics on Staten Island.

Melissa Mazzei, 38, of Stapleton, entered a guilty plea recently in state Supreme Court, St. George, to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.
