STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Congestion is reported on the Staten Island Expressway and the Goethals Bridge Brooklyn bound during the morning rush hour on Wednesday.
Traffic from the Staten Island Expressway is backing up onto the Goethals Bridge borough bound around 8 a.m., according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Congestion is reported between Western Avenue and Richmond Avenue on the Staten Island Expressway. The northbound West Shore Expressway also is clogged near the exchange with the Staten Island Expressway, according to Google Maps.
