Facebook activity by New Jersey judge leads to suspension by state Supreme Court

A municipal judge in New Jersey has been suspended for two months without pay after warnings about his Facebook activity, public records show.

A state ethics panel determined Judge Robert M. LePore’s posts constituted judicial misconduct, with which the New Jersey Supreme Court agreed.

LePore, who serves part-time in Point Pleasant Beach, was formally warned prior to being suspended, NJ.com reported.
