STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY made quick work of a fire at a house in New Brighton on Wednesday afternoon.
No injuries were reported in the fire that was called around 12:05 p.m. at 18 Pine St. near Brighton Avenue, according to a spokesman for the FDNY/EMS.
About 60 firefighters and 12 units brought the “all-hands” fire under control at 12:15 p.m., the spokesman said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
