STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The Staten Island FerryHawks came out swinging and never looked back, earning a 9-3 Atlantic League North division win over the Lancaster Stormers on Tuesday night at SIUH Community Park.

The FerryHawks’ offense wasted no time making an impact in the home first. Second baseman Damon Dues crossed the plate on an RBI grounout by Mark Contreras to put Staten Island on the board. Moments later, Matt Scheffler launched his third home run of the season, extending the lead to 2-0.
