YORK, Pa. -- The FerryHawks hit the road after seven straight home games, opening their series against the York Revolution with a statement 10-3 victory which featured five homers by the visitors.
The FerryHawks wasted no time on offense as Matthew Scheffler launched a three-run homer to left field in the top of the first, his fourth of the year, to give the Hawks an early 3–0 lead. The bats stayed hot as Shayne Fontana followed with a three-run blast of his own to right-center in the second, extending the lead to 6–0.
