STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The last full week of spring will bring a mish mosh of weather. Here’s what you need to know.
With a high of 73 degrees, Sunday starts out sunny and crisp. Alas, clouds will move in, according to AccuWeather. Akin to Saturday afternoon, “a couple of brief showers” will skirt through the area in the late afternoon.
Monday will bring rain showers during commuting hours, but it will transition to yet another cloudy day afterwards. The high will hit 66 degrees, making it the coolest day of the week.
Tuesday will be a bit rocky, so be sure to bring along some hairspray and an umbrella. Clouds kick off the day “with a couple of showers and a heavy thunderstorm, then intervals of clouds and sunshine in the afternoon with a thundershower.” The high will be 75 degrees, though it will feel closer to 80 degrees, AccuWeather said.
Wednesday and Thursday will be warm and sunny, reaching 84 degrees and 87 degrees respectively. The humidity will come down a touch, too, so it won’t be too sticky.
The work week wraps up on a high note, with temperatures expected to reach 84 degrees. Friday will be a mix of sun and clouds, offering a bit of reprieve from the UV influx Wednesday and Thursday brought.
Saturday and Sunday bring temperatures back down to earth a little bit. Saturday, with another mix of sun and clouds, will cap out at 76 degrees while Sunday sinks a little bit cooler to 72 degrees and clouds.
