STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police officers searched a wooded area in Annadale Wednesday night as part of an investigation.
Law enforcement officials were looking for an individual or individuals sought in connection with a report of a robbery, according to unconfirmed emergency radio transmissions and witness accounts.

Officers searched the wooded area on Amboy Road between Barclay Avenue and Winslow Place.
An NYPD helicopter hovered over the area to assist.
At about 7:20 p.m., officers brought what appeared to be a teen out of the woods on Sycamore Street in handcuffs.
