STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 49-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in St. George Friday night, according to a spokesperson for the NYPD.
The robbery took place around 11:45 p.m. in the vicinity of Richmond Terrace and Wall Street, the spokesperson said.
At the time, a “number of individuals” approached the victim and one of them displayed a firearm, police said. The man was ultimately robbed of his wallet, which contained money, and his cellphone.
The victim declined medical attention in the wake of the robbery.
The suspects in this case remain unapprehended and the investigation remains ongoing, added the spokesperson.
