STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — With graduation getting closer, 80 Michael J. Petrides High School seniors and their guests laid down their computers and books to put on their dancing shoes as they partied together Thursday night at Above Rooftop, the grand, yet contemporary-styled ballroom that sits “above” the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomfield.

Prom-goers in sharp suits, beautiful dresses and fabulous outfits arrived in style in cool cars, setting the stage for an epic senior prom, ready to dance the night away.

Panther Nation and their guests certainly didn’t disappoint Thursday, as the boys donned classic formal wear yielding to the vibrant colors of their dates’ gowns.
