STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It appears every year Port Richmond raises the bar for Island proms and this year’s celebration, dubbed “Rolling Loud: Port Richmond” at the Hilton Garden Inn in Bloomfield certainly lived up to the hype featuring an LED dance floor, multiple photo booths and an airbrush artist all within the party room much to the delight of the near-300 guests on-hand.

GRAND ENTRANCE

For once, limousines and party buses were a rarity with most of the guests opting for a seemingly endless line of individual rides with standouts including several Lamborghinis and Rolls Royces.

BEST DRESSED

Earning the coveted title of SILive.com’s ‘Best Dressed’ this year were Zakai Goode and Ariana Cruz. Goode’s midnight blue velvet suit and African-themed scarf were custom designed by his brother, fashion designer Zahquan Goode while Cruz’s stunning golden feathered gown also stood out in the crowd.
