STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Wu-Tang Clan is making its return to video games after a 25-year hiatus with “Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver,” a three-player co-op action RPG game from Brass Lion Entertainment.

The first trailer premiered Friday at Summer Game Fest 2025 in Los Angeles and at the opening performance of the “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” farewell tour.

The announcement comes 25 years after “Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style” was released on the PlayStation in December 1999.

In “Rise of the Deceiver,” players are equipped with supernatural powers, given to them by Wu-Tang Clan members, to fight invaders and save their home of Shaolin. The gameplay soundtrack will include classic Wu-Tang songs and new material overseen by prominent hip-hop producer Just Blaze.

The video game will also incorporate themes from the upcoming supernatural horror film “Angel of Dust,” produced by Ghostface Killah and directed by RZA under AOD films, which has been in development since 2019.

“With the development of the video game, we are immersing fans even deeper into this supernatural thriller universe,” Ghostface Killah said in a statement. “It’s about blending music, storytelling and interactive experience. I can’t wait for fans to step into the darkness and discover what lies beneath.”

While a release date for when “Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver” will be available on consoles and PC hasn’t been announced, check out the official trailer below.
