Clean Sweep 2016
FPNA will once more take to the streets for “trash day” when we participate in the Celebrate CB Clean Sweep on Tuesday, May 17th. Volunteers are asked to meet at the pump house at 5:30 at the top of Glen Ave. to get trash bags and our assignments, all within our own neighborhood. Please bring your own gloves. We will then spread out through every street and alley to find all those unsightly bits of debris. When we’ve finished our rounds, we can place our bags in the vacant lot next to 171 Glen (by one of our poles) for later pickup. Afterwards, we are all invited to Bayliss Park for free hot dogs cooked by our Mayor and members of our City Council, which is due to begin around 7:00 p.m.—a fitting reward for our labors.
